Desktop Monster is nominated for two awards at the Talk of Manchester (TOMs) 2016 in the Best Newcomer and Best Technology/Technology Product categories.
Desktop Monster is an innovative, cloud-hosted desktop solution that can be accessed anywhere, on any internet enabled device. With no need to invest in the latest hardware, servers or software, a hosted desktop can reduce your capital expenditure. Business data is stored in the cloud, to protect it from theft, in addition, the service makes team collaboration easier than ever, with employees able to easily access files without the need for traditional storage devices, such as USB.
Launched in October 2014, the product was designed and built from the ground up, by the in-house team at Midshire, who specialise in office technology solutions. Midshire services a vast area of the UK from four regional offices with 250 employees, and has performed 12,000 machine installations to date.
Midshire is also nominated for two Talk of Manchester Awards this year – Best SME Support Business and Best IT Support.
The TOMs rely on public votes with the company from each category that receives the highest number of votes winning. The voting opened on Friday the 14th of October, and closes on Friday the 28th of October – so please take a moment of your time ton vote for both Desktop Monster and Midshire.
The awards ceremony is taking place on the 1st of December this year, and will host 500 of the top business people in Manchester, so it promises to be memorable event for all!
